Jet Boating

Milford Track
The Milford Track is a one way 53.5km walk, at intermediate grade. Allow 4 days. Bookings are required for huts during peak season (October to April). With the Milford Track, you book the Great Walk through Doc. With Doc, all transport to the walk is provided and you can choose to be picked up at Doc HQ which is a short 2.5km walk away, or from Safer Parking.
Routeburn Track
The Routeburn Track is Great Walk, 32km one way, allow 2-4 days. It’s Intermediate grade. Bookings are required for huts during peak season (October to April). The Routeburn is a 1 hour, 40-minute drive away. Getting to and from Safer Parking is a breeze, as all transport providers offer a pickup and drop off service.
Hollyford Track
The Hollyford Track takes you from the mountains to the sea following the Hollyford River. The start of the Hollyford track is 2 hours and 20mins drive away. This track is rarely cut off by snow so can be tramped in any season (dependant on weather). The first part of the track offers a great overnight option for families or those with little time. Allow 4-5 days, it’s an advanced tramping track. A lot of people are doing a guided tour with Ngai Tahu Tourism.
